Cus if aina is a go for Sunday I’d stick with toff and protect him

Don’t think there is an automatic trigger.
We have an option and that’s it.

Though the club hasn't announced it anywhere The Athletic say we've activated the year's extension to Aina's contract and are still in discussions regarding a longer deal.

That to me suggests there is an issue in getting something longer term agreed

I have no issue with it. He doesn't kiss the badge and never commits in interviews. We know that he has moved around in the past and he is professional about it.

Some big right back positions becoming vacant this summer and we can at least get something for him.

I do wonder if MGW will be with us next season. No idea if the rumours of him looking for houses around Chorley are true but he just hasn't been on it the last few matches. Could be tiredness of course or just a loss of form but the Man City noises won't go away.

He really hasn't moved around. Spent 5 years at Torino, Two Loans at Hull when at Chelsea and Fulham during 2nd year at Torino, Then joined Forest.

What is the opinion of Sangare on here. I feel like he can bring us something different in midfield over the next 4 games. He has a good passing range and can actually play one touch football.

Too late to start trying out fringe players now.

If Nuno really fancied him, he would have been in a long time ago.
Rightly or wrongly he is 4th or 5th choice.
Whether it’s a lack of application in training, or Nuno thinks he is not the right fit for us who knows.

I will be amazed if he’s still with us come end of summer window.
The midfield needs a revamp. We need to build around Anderson in that area.

He was too slow last night on the ball.

It needed the ball to be moved from side to side quicker and he was simply too ponderous.

I think that is his style and playing against midfielders like Caicedo, Joelinton, Kamara, Onana, etc will see him caught out too often

So playing for 5 teams in 10 years is moving. Gibbs-White has played for 4 teams in 8 years is that moving?
