You only had to watch The Masters yesterday to see what pressure can do to people. Though hopefully we finish the season more Rory McIlroy than Bryson DeChambeau!
Here's a question for you Sausage. Had McIlroy lost last night after heading into the last round of the Masters two shots ahead of the pack, would he be congratulating himself this morning for the significant improvement over his last 10 odd years of Masters golf misery, or would he kicking himself for losing after being in such a commanding position?
His expectation would've been to win the tournament, not finish in midfield after two seasons of only just scraping past the cut.
Touché mate. :Funny:

I think it shows over these last couple of seasons the sort of players we’ve bought in and the self belief they have without being cocky maybe perhaps unloved at their other clubs
I wouldn’t want to be out club sports psychologist though

Just wanted to call out Taiwo's contribution last night, and for his last few matches. He comes on at times where he's going to see precious little of the ball, let alone get any clear chances, but has really played his part in pressuring defenders and holding the ball up. If it weren't for the propensity to pick up injuries so often I'd definitely want him around next season still.

He’s the ideal player to take it to the corner and be big and shield the ball, saying that sosa taking on his defender also ate up minutes as they played cat and mouse to see which way the ball would be played instead of the defender taking his legs out

His pass for CHO was decent too after holding ball up well. Theres a player there, all about whether we can trust him to stay fit.
Other mention has to go to Toffolo who i genuinely thought after the Villa game snub was out the door never to play again. To come back in and offer a goal saving contribution was quite something.

Taiwo did do a massive air shot before then taking it to the corner after he missed :Funny:

Harry Toffolo contact extension thoughts?
I think we need the likes of Toffolo in a European squad. Absolutely solid squad player.

Always thought there was something very Jason Lee-esque about Taiwo.

anyone reckon we’re really close on appearance based trigger for the perm signing of moreno which is why we didn’t use him or did nuno recognise that toff is a better defender and set us up to protect his weaknesses?
Cus if aina is a go for Sunday I’d stick with toff and protect him
