Well we got through and looked the better team once they scored and made the changes. Think for me it highlights that we need to get another playmaker for midfield. We lose MGW and we struggle. Was never going to be an easy game.
Onwards to quarter final away to Brighton where again anything could happen.

Gosh, would think we’d lost reading some of these comments. We won!!

My thoughts exactly.

Nuno picked a team to win the match and we won it.

We were not really weakened by the changes apart from perhaps Taiwo for Wood but even Taiwo has proved himself against top PL teams.

The team last night played just as well if not better than the team who lost to Bournemouth and Fulham recently.

Unpopular opinion I thought we were OK for the most part. Struggled to break down a team that defended well but had very little attacking intent but thats true of many teams. Our normal game is to hit on the break and we couldn’t play that way so it just didn’t play to our strengths.
No big problem with the team Nuno put out there, my biggest question was why Yates was the most advanced midfielder and Danilo looked anonymous playing deeper.

But yes, win one more game and we go to Wembley so please lets just put our strongest team out for Brighton.

I ain’t to bothered how we went through tbh 
Bournemouth v Wolves went to penalties. 
Newcastle v Brighton went to Extra Time
Man Utd v Fulham went to penalties

All PL games went to extra time and 3 went to penalties.

I didn't think we played too badly, particularly after the changes. Having both wingers on the same side at times was an odd tweak. Ipswich did to us what we've been doing to other sides this season and made it difficult for us to play through.

We won the tie and came through unscathed and that'll do me.

Yeah we looked so much better when those guys came on. You felt a bit for Taiwo being subbed at the same point.
