Be interesting to see what team Nuno goes with given that there'll be a few days before the Man City match. Would expect it to be stronger than against Exeter, though perhaps not full strength.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Fumanchew - 27-02-2025

I’d go with first choice back 5, be interesting to see what Sangare and Danilo from the start would look like again, wingers and the number 10 I’m undecided I’d start taiwo

Id start Taiwo personally.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Chicago - 27-02-2025

I would start the second team again. Sorry but I think a lot of those players are more than capable and Danilo, Sangare and Yates would be a good midfield.

Sosa is capable. Jota annoys the hell out of me and it will be interesting if Morato and Boly will be in to give Delap a hard time.

Miquel might be injured. I think one slip aside he is decent enough. Might be too soon for him but I am not against playing Moreno. I think Silva actually was very disappointing against Exeter. I think he needs to redeem himself. Harry Toffs never lets us down.

Taiwo definitely needs to play.

Chicago: Still up for the cup.

The question for me is do we play Hennessey or risk Sels?

RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Salvatore Matrecano - 27-02-2025

Strongest team possible with the exception of Wood on the bench.
As Chicago says no big problem with swapping some of the midfield, they are all capable but I don’t want the mistake of rotating 10 again and losing cohesion.
Back 5 as usual should all start. The line up that started vs Exeter likely loses IMO.

Sels
Aina Milenk Murillo Williams
Sangare Danilo
MGW
CHO Taiwo Elanga

Just Taiwo for me, we need a confidence boosting win and we have a great chance to win the FA Cup. We've got the extra two days for Monday too.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Trailer Park Tom - 27-02-2025

I'm happy to bench Murillo on the basis that Morata is good enough to play in the prem and deserves the opportunity to play in a more balanced side at a higher standard.

I don't mind 2/3 changes because you are blending players in not flipping the squad around.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Plymouth red - 27-02-2025

I would not make many changes. We've got an opportunity to go deep in this tournament and that, beyond winning some silverware, is another route into Europe.

Ipswich are in a difficult position. They've actually spent massively so could make changes as staying in the premier is probably more important than FA cup. I don't know what the implications of relegation will have on them in terms of finances but it probably isnt great. On the other hand being five points behind they might Realistically think there is little point changing the team.

All I know is that we were lucky to get three points last time against them so looking for a better performance.

I don't think you give up if you're in the bottom 3. Just one win and they're right back in there with a chance of staying up. I reckon they'll rest 3 or 4.

I would give Aina a rest and move Williams over to right back and bring Moreno in.

Also Morato for Murillo.

Sangare I am sure will start and probably Taiwo too.

Don't think it really weakens us, maybe just a bit.
