After we've played our next 2 games we will have played 8 of the current top 10 clubs, twice.

Yup, we'll have only Villa and Chelsea to play. That's why I think any talk of us missing out on the top four or five is just far too premature.

Yeah we'll still have to win the remaining matches and yeah our confidence may be shaken but we'll still be right in the mix. And a lot of the teams around us will still have to play each other.

Stay positive!

That wasn't specifically aimed at you - just a general rallying cry.

Yes thats where I am too but at the same time I fully expect to lose the next 2 games, sorry that’s just what I think from watching us.
However its can we respond from losing potentially 5 out of 6 games and go on another winning run that will define the season.

That's the question. We came out of our last bad run with six wins on the bounce. Is there enough in the tank to do that again?

First 7 games of 19 = 10pts
Second 7 games of 19 = 10pts

Points from the 7 teams we’ve faced twice this season. 1 6 4 4 4 0 0 which equates to 19pts an average of 2.7 points per pair. Across all pairs would give us 51 points and we are gonna score more. Before Fulham and Newcastle it was 3.8 points per pair which is a 72 point finish our identical ppg over a season has finish on of course 72.

The only teams we can better are Arsenal Man City and Chelsea. We had 28 points first half from the remaining twelve teams. We beed 25pts to get to 72 which is 8 wins and a draw/7 wins 4 draws

Edit to add from 3rd-10th only Brighton have loss less then us on 6. Everyone else is on 7 apart from Newcastle and man city who are on 8

I think we can lose the next two and still rebuild and finish top 5. I'm not.saying we will, just that I certainly don't think we're done if we lose these upcoming games.
