These charges have been brought against EM in response to EM's media outlets giving the Greek Government a good slagging off. Tit for tat but a very serious tit for tat.

Don’t want to get involved in the specifics here but Sniffer is this sort of thing just what happens in Greece? Basically anyone rich/gobby/anti government gets trumped up charges against them.
Or is there something the powers that be have against EM in particular?

EM used to be on good friendly terms with the current Greek PM but they have fallen out and it seems they are going to war.

Don't think so because court cases in Greece drag on for years but once the UK press get all over it then it won't do us any favours that's for sure.
