Watching the Arsenal vs. Liverpool match and it seems there's a hierarchy of refereeing decisions within the big six itself. Arsenal getting nothing. Van Dijk kicked out at Havertz twice - nothing. Diaz twice delayed restart - no booking. Martinelli gets cleaned out in the box - no penalty.

Nearly a quarter of the season gone and we're twelve points ahead of the bottom three and two points off the top four. Yeah, I'll take that.

The important thing now is to not look at the table until after we've played West Ham and definitely dont look further forward than the next game. My latest superstition is not to look where we might be in table if we win. Amongst a few others. Like avoiding a specific pub prematch, wearing same trainers for every game until we lose and then changing the colour. That's just tip of the ice berg too. I think accumulating all these points is sending g me mental...

We haven’t been here in 30 years. Enjoy it, maybe it gets better still in which case we are totally in dreamland. Maybe it drops off a bit and we sink back into the pack. One game at a time fine, but take it all in and make the most of whats happening because it’s fantastic.

It's a shame West Ham are coming into our game buzzing from a win but it's also funny what's happening at United.

Better them coming in flying high after a United win, than coming in after a loss. Easier to lose motivation after a win rather than after another loss. I think our squad are well motivated due to the ongoing fines and suspensions to manager, players and owner.
This gives us the "them against everyone" winning mentality. So easier for us to keep motivated - all being well we move to 19 points with another win soon.

Just Gary Neville - he of the 'mafia' comment about our tweet last season - suspecting a conspiracy with Premier League refereeing...

I really wish we were playing midweek again to carry on the momentum.
