Are we expecting a statement from our new chairman about the new training facilities and stadium soon?

Anyone know what happened to the new Training Facilities? I remember our previous chairman back in about Feb saying we were close to acquiring land??

No not for the new training facility. Tom said we were acquiring land for a new state of the art training academy. This was after we announced we were staying put and not going Toton

Not wanting to argue with ya mate, but back in May it was reported Marinakis wanted away from the City Ground, with Toton still being mooted as the place to go.

Forest fans at the Forest v Chelsea match made their feelings known (May 11th this year) by singing I wanna stay here, Totons a shithole, I wanna stay here

DT replied to a few tweets yesterday (he was being positive and slammed someone trying to slag EM).
Said Forest have been buying up various bits of land around the ground including Colwick Road for Bridgford redevelopment.
He reckons training ground is clearly something the club wants to happen and they recognise we are behind other clubs but the priority is the PT stand for now.
For the training ground he was told back in May that we had made serious proposals for land in Holme Pierrepont but that seems to have all gone quiet again.

I don't want to argue either not sure why you even mentioned that to be honest. I may have the month's wrong. But now your wanting to make a point about being right I'll find this info just for you, Tricky.

Sky Sports reporting that we've been fined £750k for the comments we tweeted after the Everton match last season.

It's a lot of money but I'm not going to lie, I thought they might try and make an example of us by deducting points. It wouldn't have surprised me in the least.

And our response:

"Nottingham Forest Football Club is extremely disappointed with the decision of the Regulatory Commission to impose a £750,000 fine in relation to comments posted on social media following our Premier League fixture against Everton on Sunday 21 April.

We are particularly concerned that The FA, in its submissions, sought a sanction “in excess of £1,000,000”. We believe that this request, along with the subsequent fine, is wholly disproportionate and the Club will be appealing the decision."
