Next Few Games

We are on a even playing field with them all. Should we lose it's not the end of the world and should we win we shouldn't be going over board. 9 points would be a reasonable return.

This ^^

We win together, we lose together.

We shouldn't get carried away with a win and we shouldn't get brassed off with a loss.

Level heads and see where it takes us.

Totally agree mate. What a start but let's not get carried away, a defeat is around the corner, and on Saturday our midfield 3 for the opener against Muff will not be involved through injury and suspension.

However the squad we've built will probably still see us as favourites going in to the game.

Chelsea A
Palace H
Leicester A
West Ham H

A real test if we want to be that mid table team with these games. Chelsea is going going to be tough but the next three based on form we need to be coming away with properly 6 or 7 points.

Id actually take a home win and two draws against Palace, Leicester and West Ham.

I am looking at 7 points there.

Feels like a key run of games, 7 points and we're looking at a strong start however 3/4 points or less and it starts to look like a pretty ropey start given we've got a hard run from mid Nov onwards.

Got to be beating Palace and Jobbertagui's hammers

We have had a decent start but are only 2 points better off than this time last season. If we are looking to be a mid table team really need a minimum 6 points from these 4 games.

6 points would put us on 15 from 10 games or 1.5PPG
that gets you 10th and 11th in the last 2 seasons

That is what we need to aim to keep at - 1.5PPG

Do that and you have enough points on the board after 25 games to be safe.

Yeah but that excludes the fact that we won't have played Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs or Villa.

(although Man Utd only add to that list if Ten Hag is gone by the time we play them!)

We've beaten Liverpool why can't we beat any of them. Villa we've beaten, Man United we've beaten, Arsenal we've beaten, City we have drawn, Spurs the only one we haven't got anything from our return to the PL

We can beat anyone but we can also get beat by anyone.

It is really tough to predict which is why most in the predictions league are wrong every week.

Like I said earlier I will be delighted with 7 points from our next 4 games.
