Yep.
My view still hasn’t changed that this has been the plan all along; but the changing PSR rules have focused minds on expanding revenue.
The posturing has tipped the scales Forest’s way to get the bigger footprint they need for a 45000+ CG.
Or so I hope.
There is also those sports fields and clubs to the east of the CG. Get them to move to Toton Sports Village too and there is a nice piece of land to build a brand spanking new stadium while keeping the CG going until the build is complete.
Don't want a whole new stadium and clearly neither do a loud majority of match going supporters.
We obviously need more seats and more (expensive) corporate capacity. But this can be done - as per original plans- by flattening the PT stand.
Income from tickets is minor compared to the TV stuff now, so maintaining Premier League status is the primary goal.
Plenty of new builds knocking around Championship and League 1 from clubs who thought they "had" to move rather than develop.
