You’d think though given rumours about how many other clubs are facing having to sell players by 30/6 in order to meet PSR limits that they’d be proposing it to apply for the current 3 yr period in order to avoid having to avoid selling.
Shouldn't think so as that would help the smaller clubs, not the big ones.
No chance they'd get a majority to change the rules for this year. Why would any team that doesn't have to sell players vote for that? Even if there are up to 10 that do, that's still not a majority.

It helps everyone if it's back dated. Gives the bigger clubs an even bigger transfer budget for this summer.

Forest, Newcastle, Chelsea, Villa, Everton and Leicester all at risk of breaching PSR if they don't make player sales before June 30th according to SSN.
If the beloved Chelsea are in danger then maybe any changes *will* be backdated.

What’s the point in voting on it if it was only for a year as the rules will change to the revenue cap 25/26, unless clubs are sure the cap doesn’t happen as soon as that

It got approved in principle, just not necessarily the value.
I wonder how many of the above (including us) have assets to sell back to themselves and will surely copy Chelsea. I find it insane that they didn't outlaw this when the EFL did, particularly as Derby almost went bankrupt because of it.
If its being allowed, we should 100% be doing it though if it could help us keep Murillo. Not sure we have any assets to sell though.
