Did you hear the 15000 genuine Forest supporters who couldn’t get a ticket voicing their opposition. It is alright for us season ticket holders but to compete we need bigger crowds and if that means moving I’m in favour.
It wasn't that vocal either. Certainly not the whole stadium
Don’t know where you sit but I reckon at least 90% were on their feet for stand up for the City Ground.
Think its wrong to suggest all those without tickets are in favour of a move too.

Interesting mood swing on here on the back of one pretty soft interview.
Talk of a sports village. What does that really mean. In reality it will probably be just football and a training ground complex, not convinced there will be a multi sports facility. Do any of you care about other sports really? I don’t to be honest.
What it will mean is that all the catering and drinking facilities will be on site, Sounds good? Not really, it means you will be stuck having your pre match at the same bland corporate outlet, forget your nice atmospheric places like the Nav and TBI, many of these places at Trent Bridge could well fold.
I still get the commercial necessity and have always said the CG is no longer fit for purpose. But surprised how easily people are now having a change of heart on the back of some very vague promises.
I started watching in 1966/7 season and stood in the Trent End. I was stood in the East stand side when 49k were there for the Man Utd game that season. As I got older I sat on the wooden seats in the East Stand before standing in the Colwick Road end. I had a season ticket for BC stand when that was built and spent a few seasons in there before I decided I missed standing in the Colwick road end. I now live 2000 miles away but miss the 'old lady'
However now is a time for heads instead of hearts and as long as a decent site is used, to make any advance in the EPL, then a new stadium with extended corporate facilities and a multi-use venue generating much more revenue is I am afraid a must.

Upper Bridgford. Didn't feel like the whole stadium to be to be honest

I'm sure the mist will still roll in from the Trent.
Its the green area to the East of the railway (DB Cargo UK)

That plan doesn’t include a housing scheme which I think was integral to the affordability of the original PT development.
Im still somewhat baffled as to how many people who were anti a “soulless bowl in Toton” a few days ago seem to be completely won over at the first mention of Sporting Village whatever that means.

Because they were letting their hearts rule their heads
