Staggeringly our spending from last season propelled us into the top 20 of European clubs for an entire 10 year period from 2014.
Didn’t read it all but skimmed over the graphs and two things stood out for me.
Generally speaking, the biggest transfer fees lie with the big 6 (no surprise) but, apart from reckless Chelsea, the lower salary to turnover percentages are also enjoyed by the big clubs thanks to their massive incomes.
With the proposed changes to PSR being based on salary as a percentage of income, going forward, the big clubs will make their positions at the top almost unassailable from sheer financial leverage.
The PL stinks.

It’s not just the PL though, it’s a UEFA rule for clubs playing in Europe. So PL is looking to align with it - if they didn’t then teams could in theory outspend the teams in Europe to overtake them but then wouldn’t be able to play in Europe the following season anyway.
The underlying problem is that UEFA have bowed to the pressure of the rich clubs to put this version of financial rules in place going forwards. And what can we do about that?

How many points are Everton likely to get. Apparently Monday is announcement day, If they appeal I think it would run to the end of this season whereas our Appeal Hearing is supposed to be anytime before 12th April - Announcement by end of April.

Has to be 4-6
It’s an immediate 3 points for breaching, because their losses have increased they don’t have mitigation.
So that constitutes a serious breach of another 3 points.
It’s just whether they get a credit because they have been punished for 2 of the 3 yrs.
Best case for them is 4 I reckon, worst case 6.

By the sounds of it Fulham and Bournemouth should be in breach seemingly Promotion bonuses have been excluded for them, if that is true we are going to court.

If that is found to be proven then we get our points back. It's as simple as that.
Can this be verified?

Stefan Borson an expert saying he doesn’t see how Fulham don’t breach same as Bournemouth. With inclusion of Bonuses. Swiss Ramble said he doesn’t know how Bournemouth passed either they would have been around 8m over with Bonuses included.

I don’t know if that is true but it’s hardly news if it is.
In fact, I don’t know why we didn’t argue the point more in the first place.

Does anyone know if at the appeal we are allowed to argue our case again? Or is it simply a matter of a committee looking at the original evidence and verdict again with no input from us?

You would assume so. I find it extraordinary that the initial hearing was done on an online meeting, that is very professional…
