They had got their way then I firmly believe we would currently be in the Championship. Similarly were we to change now it would be suicidal .
Nuno needs our full backing now, weird team choices or not, and we can reassess end of season.

Yep sacking managers is pointless during the season. There's no statistical evidence to support it being a good approach, for every Emery there's three Nathan Jones.

Ironically Marco has backed his own point up, in that the team haven't improved and are broadly the same (as it's the same players). Surely this just shows that this is the team's level right now?

I do t want him sacked now - in 8 games please after we’ve stayed up with 28 points

So nobody wants to give him a chance to get a few of his own players in and to build his own team?

That seems harsh to me.

No other manager in the history of Nottingham Forest has had to put up with what Nuno has had to put up with and all with somebody elses players too.

I think you should give him a break.

I would suggest Steve cooper put up with similar and for longer and still got a tune out of them until the end.

I want an upgrade in the summer

Steve Cooper doesn't even come close in terms of disgusting refereeing and VAR decisions, Afcon and point deductions so lets not go there. He had his own team and players too.

I am sick to the back teeth of talking about Steve Cooper.

We are Nottingham Forest FC we are not Steve Cooper FC.

And this is a Nottingham Forest forum it is not a Steve Cooper forum.

Steve is gone and it was his own doing so get over it. He did well for us and we can remember him fondly but FFS move on will you.

I think everyone would be willing to if we saw something, anything that looked like we were moving forward. We all want and crave that over changing managers. he still has quiet a few games to to show that but right now nothing has changed and that raises questions.
Like how is have a couple of his own players going to change things. Most the squad is going to stay the same as we just can't afford to replace the team so he needs to be able to work with them and get better from them.

personally i don't see where our next win would even come from right now the way the team comes out. We just need something to believe in and it's just not happing for him/team right now. Sometimes managers just don't do well at a club, doesn't make him a bad manager, just not working here (yet?)

Frustration i think best describes it. We needed something to happen when we changed manager but it is just carry on the same and that is what put us in this position in the first place.

It would help if you didn't keep suggesting it was his own doing.

I'm not suggesting he wasn't partly at fault but it's pretty clear there were multiple parties at fault for the breakdown of his relationship with the club.

No.

What would help is if everyone stopped mentioning Steve Cooper after we have drawn or lost a game of Football.

I don't tell lies and make stuff up Wassy. You can believe whatever you want that is up to you.

Now can we move on for Christ sake.

Got a tune out of them till the end? Look at the last 6 results under Cooper. Was 3 or 4 home losses in a row.

They chucked the towel in at Fulham under him. Luckily for Cooper we started off the season ok.

It was three including tight losses to Spurs and Brighton. Also narrowly lost to West Ham and unlucky to not beat Wolves. It was only the Fulham game where we completely gave up.

Not sure it makes sense to criticise him for the last few results but then essentially suggest the early parts of the season were worth nothing. Pretty sure all matches are worth the same amount of points.

In our last 6 games before last night we had lost 4, drawn 2, convincingly beaten in one and the rest were tight draws/losses. Teams go through good and bad runs, that's just how it works.
