Nuno Espirito Santo
No mention of individual errors by players?

They have cost us more points than anything this season, surely!!

Win together - lose together. Laying the blame doesn’t work never did, never will. We are not down yet!

Attributing blame at this stage is irrelevant. It’s a question of what we need to do now to give us the best chance of staying up. I don’t think sticking with Nuno does. I am not saying bring Cooper back either

Yeah I agree Ozzy! Let’s just smash Luton.

Listened to the Forest focus podcast today made me hate Luton. They’re laughing at us.

Steve made his own position untenable unfortunately.

Nuno has had it tough since he walked through the door and it's not his own squad either so I do have some sympathy for him.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

Sympathy won’t prevent us from getting relegated. We need the best person we can get for the last 9 games. I have not seen any evidence from Nuno that he is that person. We need immediate and significant improvement in results. I am not advocating for Cooper to return. We need a manager who can make us better in both penalty areas.

Is that true? I’m not disagreeing, just stating playing devils advocate.

I genuinely think the collective group are better than the league position suggests.

The amount of times over the years on this forum, people have believed the group are better than the league position suggests. I can count how many times with 1 finger of one hand how many times that turned out to be the case.

I agree with the Baddog, we've got some players with potential but right now there's too much inconsistent play and some just aren't that good.

It's funny you pick out Neco too as he's probably been our best player of late. Not sure exactly what that says about the rest of the team.

I did say that I wasn’t singling out Neco, I was using him as an example.

That said, we have detracted from the point I was making. The level of unforced errors isn’t down to the standard of the players, there is clearly something wrong with the mindset of the squad, it is almost lacking in professionalism.

I disagree, I think the fact that the level is broadly the same across two managers just shows this is the current level for this group.

There is potential to be better but I think the mistakes just come from a combination of younger player being inconsistent and more experienced players just not being that good.

You might disagree but get yourself to a game or two chap and you’ll see it in the flesh.

I've watched every game on TV apart from Villa so I think I've got a pretty good idea what I've seen thanks. I think the professionalism of the squad is fine, just the lack of quality. The work rate, commitment and passion is on show every game. This is just how good this team is right now.

I still think we'll probably stay up once we start playing easier fixtures.

I think what is fair is to be critical of the fact set pieces are sill a weakness. Thats coaching and setup - for example, Shay Given saying we are far too deep to help the goalkeeper (MOTD i think that was)

These set pieces still our downfall. I understand the anger, even if I don't share the sentiment
