I get all that but these are basic unforced errors that don’t have with this level of consistency at Championship level, never mind EPL.

It feels to me like something is wrong with the mindset of the players.

Out of all the players you have mentioned I reckon you could drop each of them into say, an Aston Villa team, and they wouldn’t look hugely out of place.

The number of unforced errors is actually key for me.

I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a Forest team make so many as they have this season, my initial reactions when it first became noticeable was that I felt we were trying to take risks and be brave on the ball but it’s just plain sloppy.

The first three notable touches from Neco Williams today were two misplaced passed, one out of play and the other straight to the opposition, and a baffling set piece routine that he hit straight at the wall.

I don’t mean to single Neco out because it permeates through the whole team (barring Toffolo).

Can anyone explain why this is happening with such regularity?

Because most of our players aren't up to the standard?

Is that true? I’m not disagreeing, just stating playing devils advocate. 

I genuinely think the collective group are better than the league position suggests.

The amount of times over the years on this forum, people have believed the group are better than the league position suggests. I can count how many times with 1 finger of one hand how many times that turned out to be the case.

I agree with the Baddog, we've got some players with potential but right now there's too much inconsistent play and some just aren't that good. 

It's funny you pick out Neco too as he's probably been our best player of late. Not sure exactly what that says about the rest of the team.

Is it feasible to change the manager at this stage of the season. Would a change give us a better chance of staying up and if so who.

We aren't getting anyone at this time of the season

We were only able to attract Glasner and Nuno with ample time to sort it out so we've shot it now

Cooper this season 14 pts from 17 games. 0.82 ppg. Over 38 games = 31 points

Nuno this season 10 points from 11 games. 0.91 ppg. over 38 games = 34 points.

Unlikely either performance good enough to keep us up. Changing manager again would be madness IMo but we need a good run very soon.

The stats prove what most of us thought all along. Not much of an upgrade and we’ve lost any heart and soul we had. 

That said, this week is pivotal, avoid defeat at Luton and don’t get a harsh points deduction and I think Nuno will do just enough to keep us up

I've not got a great deal of sympathy for him to be honest. Some of his lineups have cost us the game before a ball was kicked. Victim mentality is starting to creep in and he is using it as an excuse to hide behind. Two of his loans not even in the match day squad yesterday, what's that all about? 

I am so angry at that performance yesterday. That is on him. 

I hear he doesn't want the set piece coach we currently have... Though that is quite amusing considering it's where all our goals are conceded. 

If we go down at the expense of Luton with all the money we've spunked then we deserve everything we get. Deduction or no deduction.

To be honest I'm not impressed with Nuno, I hoped that he was the man that would be able to get the most out of this team, but considering his team selection yesterday and the fact that he has to tinker with the starting 11 every game is beyond belief, why could he not see that after they got their fortunate goal that he needed to change thing's, his decision making is more than questionable, especially when it comes to Gibbs White, he should not be the man to take free kicks or corner kicks because he is gash at them. Toffs should take them, he is by far better than anyone else in the team to take any free kicks etc.

Brighton was there for the taking yesterday, and Nuno bottled it with that team selection, he still hasn't got the team as a whole to defend set pieces, nor as he stopped the player's from committing needles fouls and giving away free kicks, especially in dangerous positions in and around our box, he needs to pick a starting 11 that will get us out of this position and will get us points on the board, he should start by picking the same group of player's that beat Wet Spam and stop with the tinkering of the squad as we haven't got long left until this season finishes, so the buck stops with him and he needs to start proving to us that he is that manager to keep us in this league

You lot are going on like there wasn't 30 points to play for, let's talk about him at the season end. Where he has ether kept us up or took us down, it's more the refs than Nuno at the min.

He has my support untill the season ends then I'll reassess, we're creating more under him than cooper. Our luck is bound to change at some point. Hopefully this weekend

Has any other manager in the history of the PL had to contend with so many decisions going against him in such a short space of time? Nobody even comes close.

The issue is for some fans is that there isn’t a connection to Nuno, like the previous manager, Nuno gets more pelters. But in 3/4 games we’ve lost, we’ve played a game that has deserved something but due to shocking refereeing decisions we’ve got nothing from them games. At the moment my interest in football is low, Every week there is a decision, potential points deduction is definitely having an effect on the players and Nuno to.

Brighton red - not that likely to have affected the result
Liverpool - cost us a point
Newcastle - cost us a chance to take the lead but no guarantee we'd have won from there
Bournemouth - red card made it tricky, no guarantees the result would've been different.

So lets say an extra 3-5 points maybe if all decisions go our way. Then that excludes Omo lucky to avoid a red yesterday or MGW vs Newcastle or Felipe vs Man Utd or the potential Liverpool pen that was almost identical to the foul on Omo near the end. Pretty sure Wolves had worse at the start of the season than this. 

If we were as good as some think we should be we should be able to overcome these to finish above Luton.

The main thing I'd say in Nuno's defence, Bournemouth and Brentford are the only bottom half teams he's got to play so far. The fixtures do get easier from here, only Spurs and Man City left from the top half. We should still stay up from here as long as the points deduction isn't too crushing.
