Also didn't seem like they reviewed that goalkeeper fumble much either.

The time they took tells you all needto know. Should have been on field review

What does it take for a ref to go and look at something on the screen? Do they think they're too good to go and take a second look? Is it all about their ego's?

OK so it hasn’t cost us points today but VAR is absolute shite. Plain as day to me in real time that was a pen and replays confirm it. For the love of God Scrap this ridiculous system.

To be honest, I think neco could have carried on there, but it should still have been a pen. I think the one against taiwo last week was far worse.....and it has a genuine effect on the result of the game

They have to be prepared to have ego's bruised by taking a second look. And the VAR's need to grow a pair and tell the ref he needs to look.

All var's done for the game is to demonstrate the reffing standards at the top of the game is piss poor. The only change is that there are now 2 piss poor refs officiating at prem games rather than one.

Thought the Mark Clattenberg thing was a joke.
Sorry to be negative but this just looks a bit crap in my opinion. I mean its hardly going to make PGMOL more sympathetic towards us if we are bring in our own referee to comment on their decisions and presumably write whingy whiny letters of complaint if we don’t agree.

I maintain VAR isn’t fit for purpose because it has solved nothing. But I can live with referees making mistakes in real time because mostly it will even out. We should have had a pen today but lets be honest MGW bought the 2nd yellow for Phillips. But I don’t see how Forest having an analyst will improve anything.

I presume its to help coach the players about what is and isn't likely to be given. Could be a useful edge if it worked. Suspect it won't have an impact though.

Refs have a huge impact on the game and he was one of the best in the world. No harm in bringing him in as a consultant and to discuss decisions with the prem on our behalf.
