The club have undoubtedly done well in reducing the squad size this window. We still have a considerable roster out on loan so presumably have wage commitments to them also. Probably only Richards and Aguilera have a future at the club, maybe Worrall and O'Brien at a push. Are any of these out of contract in the summer beside McKenna?

It’s just down to the EPL rules.
The rules stop you from leaving an empty space, if you have players over 21 not named.

So we couldn’t have omitted 2 GK’s and Laryea and only named 22.

So it’s just an admin requirement to actually name them.

Stupid question now, but is Laryea back with the club now or is he still out on loan? If he is still on loan, how can we name him in the 25?

Also, what if we decide to sell him on to a US club? Does that still mean we have to add a name in the blank space?

Laryea’s loan ended at the end of 2023. Assume he’s been allowed time off after the MLS season.

Don’t think you can add players to the 25 after it has been submitted, even if someone leaves.
