Thoughts?
Harsh.
Can we just get behind our f*****g club and team instead of constantly beating them to a pulp.
It would help wouldn’t it
Well we’ve conceded less goals than last season, scored more goals last season, and we aren’t defending for our lives all game and every game.
So I can see certain improvements
I think the issue here Reds73 is that after 23 years in the Championship and League 1 last seasons team got a free pass, a free hit at having a go in the PL.
Now the novelty has worn off and this seasons team don't have that luxury unfortunately hence the totally unnecessary abuse, whining and moaning.
It's a good point Sniff.

Really like Omobamideli and his partnership with Murillo is showing promise.

Agreed - we need to give them time and patience.
Its worth looking at how many teams keep clean sheets, the numbers are very low and every team at his level seems to concede on a regular basis.
There were only three teams in the previous game week that kept a clean sheet Fulham, Everton and Luton, who I think conceded a combined eight goals this weekend.

I don't know if Nuno has played much with a back three/five but I can see those two either side of a taller, more dominant centre-half (a Boly or Niakhate).
That would also let Murillo have more freedom to bring the ball out.
Sounds good to me in theory anyway.

The problem you then have with a back 5 is where MGW fits in, where you get him in the centre of the pitch. It would have to be 352 but then you lose out on your wingers all together too.

25 man squad announced. Some oddities like Laryea and five goalkeepers names but apparently because any under-contract players have to be named in the squad rather than leaving blank spaces.

5 GKs in the 25…
Laryea will probably leave and is probably not training in the uk but in case of injury I guess he’s there

It’s just down to the EPL rules.
The rules stop you from leaving an empty space, if you have players over 21 not named.
So we couldn’t have omitted 2 GK’s and Laryea and only named 22.
So it’s just an admin requirement to actually name them.

Ethan J-Kwon Dermecoe Hull is by some distance our best named player.
