i agree S B D, horses for courses, Billy has the best course and distance form, any psychopathic hunger to succeed has to be an advantage, he would do it to let Fawaz know what a bellend he was and probably always will be, and I, like you, am desperate to hear those words 'it is what it is' , absolute legend material, what is there not to like, I cannot imagine Billy having any downers after a win, he would look into the camera with same expression a rabid rottweiller has when swinging Mrs Wilsons pet Pekinese Henry around in it's jaws

“The appointment of a director of football, Kyriakos Dourekas, was allegedly made without Karanka’s input and there were recent allegations that he was even sat on the Forest bench for the game against Derby in December.“

Is it true about Dourekas being sat on the bench?

Given that the game was televised this must be easy to prove one way or another.

You’d have to be certified to employ Billy...

I must admit that when I read that yesterday it set alarm bells ringing. (it's from the John Percy article).

I am surprised that nobody mentioned it until now.

This type of thing goes on here in Greece, I have even seen Marinakis sat on the bench but in the English game it is totally unacceptable.

This adds more weight to my theory that after the Ipswich game Karanka was really angry because Dourekas came into the changing room?

If this all goes tits up, mood and form dips within the camp. The Greeks only have themselves to blame. We clearly had something good going on. Clearly changed after Ipswich and now know why.

That’s why I flagged it up.

Given it was shown on national TV surely someone would have noticed?

sorry but there are too many similarities between Marinakis and Fawaz, the main one being total lack of decency and integrity, how it seems anyway

I didn't want AK but it was obvious he doesn't change for people, he can be very difficult and has a dour disposition but this is what getting a manager in is about, bringing in something that for whatever reason works or has a high probability of replicating success, there is no doubt in my mind that AK was totally committed to his ideals, like virtually all the decent men we have had as managers, he has been treated badly, cynically, undermined etc, I found AK very easy to dislike intensely but at the same I admire him and very angry about the interference and seemingly deliberate irritation and indicators of no confidence, we are poisonous low life at the moment

There is that many people sat on the bench nowadays I am not sure.

Does anybody actually know what he looks like?

Karanka took him off against Ipswich when he was on a hat trick.
