NFFC Financial Talk

I have a feeling that as we did sell and recoup losses quickly and we show financial prudence going forward then we may get some of our deduction suspended for strict compliance on future returns. We obviously need to sell to recruit from here on in.

With the exception of repeated failings to pay the players, which attracts a 3 pt penalty, and entering admin, which attracts a 12 pt penalty, all of the penalties are arbitrary.

If Everton win with that excuse, it will open the flood gates on all that has passed.

Forest hoping to learn their fate by the end of the month, This is according to Tom Collomosse from the Mail
I assume that is what Forest meant in their statement wanting a 'fair and speedy resolution'

So looks like we won't have to wait until April

I was wondering about that yesterday and was going to ask the question. Just because the timing says the result of the independent commission's review is reported to happen in April does that mean it definitely will, or could it be done sooner?

Hopefully Collomosse is correct. Would be better to know sooner rather than later.

Maybe if we're not appealing or anything it can speed up the resolution?

I like this strategy, draws a nice difference between us and Everton. Hopefully helps us get a more lenient sentence.

Yes, I don't think we are appealing the charge, We have pretty much accepted it but we are using mitigating circumstances which are very good arguments, I expect De Marco will have  our case watertight. Everton's case will probably drag on till the 24th May.

Be nice if we can find out daytime on the 30th, its positive news then the WFCG will be bouncing for when Arsenal rock up.

Don't know much about accountancy but IF this is true then things seem more positive https://x.com/forestsince/status/1747969...53775?s=46

It all looks very plausible, and the numbers stack up.

If we take the numbers we do know, and the estimates made, 10.6m would fall within the margin of error, that's if the PL refuse to accept our Promotion allowances from the previous season.

That fills you with more hope

Only 5m of that would count towards PSR
