Niakhate just got subbed off for Senegal. He'd got injured a few minutes earlier, played on for a bit but then couldn't continue.

Nigeria only played 1 up front, and they didn’t sub osimhen, what could taiwo have done?

Kouyate was also on the bench for Senegal but didn’t get on the pitch.

Just been reading on Twitter about loads of people cancelling their subscriptions to The Athletic following their recent doom and gloom article which I think came out yesterday.
Panic on the streets of London

I think some of the tweets about The Athletic having an agenda against the club are nonsense. However, a couple of the things they did over the last couple of days were totally uncalled for. The tweet about Forest winning with one line about the actual match and the rest about the PSR situation was one. The other was in Paul Taylor's match report and suggested that Nuno looked 'already worn down with the challenges of managing Forest' or something daft like that. It was after Blackpool had levelled so I imagine it was more to do with that.

I really do not expect most journalists to get a lot right about PSR; their niche is football not accounting.
Some of things things that have been written recently about PSR, particularly in the Athletic, have been mind numbingly stupid. There definitely appears to be a herd mentality towards reporting

The continual mis reporting on the parameters of PSR The manner in which we have been grouped with Everton as if the offences are the same You can see who the reporters are who have made the effort to establish the facts and the lazy ones who just print anything to fill up the spaces in an article.
I'm sick of reading that premier league clubs can record loses of £105 million over 3 years and that we've breached this.. not many outlets explain we can only (I use this word lightly) record loses of £61million due to our years in the championship.
Be interesting to see what our spend/loss is with the rest of the league. Wouldn't be surprised if this is less than most teams who's fans are branding us cheats |
