NFFC Financial Talk
It probably hopefully would be 10. 5 puts us level with Luton…

If we end up with 10 it will be a long way back, the good thing is that the points won't be taken till April at the earliest and hopefully we will have built up enough of a buffer to keep us safe.

Every point is massive from here on in if it wasn't already.

I get the feeling us fans are preparing for the worst. Do we know on Sunday if we are being charged?

We will officially find out on Monday but I'd expect some leaks from the press over the course of the weekend as some of them will have been briefed.

I’d be surprised if they announce anything on Sunday when there is games happening that day, including Everton.

More likely to be Monday in my opinion.

Why are we assuming we are getting a points deduction, we haven't even been confirmed to have breached and might not even have breached - Forest have said they have complied, and are confident that they won't get a Sanction.

Big day today although I am sure we won't hear anything.

I am confident that we are okay.

You can’t sing “30 signings, who gives a f***” then complain when it comes back to bite you. Nor am I blaming Forest, what the club and ownership decided was to give ourselves the maximum opportunity to stay in the Premier League. We had to play on the edge to have a fighting chance, it worked but it came at a cost.

We didnt cheat, we didn’t break the rules. But maybe we have bent them just a touch too far and if that’s the case, so be it and get on with the rest of the season. I will repeat this post IF that’s how it all pans out,  there is little point in getting worked up about it all.

I hope you are including DT and all his rimmers in that what you have said above.

What do you mean? That DT (and plenty other journalists) will firmly blame Marinakis I assume?

No idea but I stand by my opinion. Possibly not what I would have done in the same situation but Im not a billionaire owner of a football club. However thats the path Forest have taken and last season it achieved the desired result and we as fans were on board with it. So if there are consequences then we take it on the chin and move on.

Absolutely correct. We have a brilliant and generous owner who has put us in a position we could only dream of a few years ago when some of us turned up at the car park and protest against Fawaz. We as fans, even on this forum have demanded this and that transfer which more often than not have come to fruition but when they haven’t we have complained and moaned. If we have broken the rules then everybody associated with the club, including fans need to accept responsibility, take it on the chin and do everything within the rules to keep us in the premier league.
