Just like to say well done to Neco WIlliams yesterday I thought he was outstanding and demonstrated perfectly the kind of attitude that is required. If Steve stays I would like him to offer an olive branch to Joe Worrall and get that sorted.

Neco and Toff were outstanding. Both pushed up high and midfielders tucked in behind them.

Great energy and attitude. Good tactical performance.

Always viewed us as a stepping stone but has to show he can do it in the prem first.

Just want to give a shout to Elanga. Thought he was excellent today and has been our biggest threat for a while.

He remains frustrating at times, the lad isn’t a centre forward as we know. Should he have squared the ball in the first half? Well Nuno clearly thought so too but think he was within his rights to shoot clean through.

4 goals and 5 assists and counting, the biggest thing is he is using his pace well and getting into the right positions. Keep doing that and he will keep getting better.

Agreed SM he carries a threat and frightens defenders with his pace. Far from the finished article but he has got great potential.

I also thought Murillo was back to his best again today. Once again not the finished article by a long way but great potential.

He defended well I agree however I didn't like his champagne run. He was lucky to escape with the ball and then out of position for the Newcastle counter which they almost scored from once he lost the ball.

He definitely should've squared it, he had time and would've easily been able to see Wood. He was excellent though, I keep trying to remind myself it's his first year playing regularly in his career, he will get better and hopefully iron out some of the offsides and decision making. Has some excellent tools though.

Yep I was screaming at him to pass and get back! Better as said today but was that a bit because Newcastle play less in the air? To be honest I think he would look better at heading with Boly or Felipe next to him.

Regardless Elanga and Murillo are the future. We drop the odd clanger recruitment wise but think we’ve pulled a couple of gems (maybe some others too), thats what I want us to do, youngsters with big potential and proper will to win attitude.
