Sniffer - I don’t want either. The quality of the Greek league is lower than EFL. All the players we have had from Olympiakos have been duds- all of them! £25m and wants promotion in a year is a joke.
We sold Britt and brereton too for £22m and whilst I don’t doubt hearty wage bill I do not for 1 minute believe we’ve paid £13m For Carvalho or that Karanka went out and and got him. Perhaps karanka won’t play players that were someone else’s idea?

I actually don't feel a guy like that would be given a chance by the fans, especially after following a 'name' like Karanka. It would be a bit like when McCleash came in - no respect given to him by the fans as he was considered to be a dinosaur and why the hell was the last man sacked anyway?

As above. Back to Fawaz days I'm afraid can't believe I'm saying that.
This was going to happen a while ago, the only thing that prolonged it was the Leeds result.

Just think its going to be hard for them to justify it to the fans and unless it's another big name manager the fans believe in, it could turn a little sour.

So what are we saying, that we don't want any manager who has worked in the shit Greek League? So that rules out Marco Silva (Everton), Fernando Santos ( Portugal) and Valverde (Barcelona).

When choosing a manger I believe it's irrelevant if the league is supposed to be of a lesser standard than the Championship. When buying a player the situation is different.
