I do not like mendes involved, I cannot think of a single deal where we have not been ripped off when he's been involved. We have never seen the quality of player wolves had from him that's for sure.

I think that's clearly a very polar opinion, Tom and Pap. Yes, we didn't get the best of deals out of him previously, but as with all recruitment, there is always an element of luck. 

However....Pap - you cannot be so successful in a specific business area (as he is) and only ever screw people over to your own benefit. The world finds out very quickly and you therefore lose that business you have created for yourself. You have to deliver results to maintain your business edge....he probably owes one a little bit, though I am sure he doesn't see it that way. If EM (who knows his shite) believes that Mendez can help with all his clubs, then we have to trust that decision. I'm sure EM is letting Mendez know that he owes him...not sure I'd want to owe EM!?

Hes not going to sort us out a decent player because he screwed us over on Carvalho. If we get one of his decent players it will be because Mendes is making a tidy sum out of the deal, no other reason.

I don't think it's so black and white like that Pap.

Weren't most lauding Carvalho when he first played and some still do plus the reported fee we paid for him was not accurate.

I admit and agree that the players we have taken from Mendes so far haven't set the world alight but it would be madness to turn our backs on him especially now the PL opens us up to Mendes better players.

Those guys were way more established and rated than Carvalho and Goncalves when they signed.
