Those two scored 18 out of our 38 goals last season, a huge contribution.
Easy to say others can step up, look at the facts
Wood’s best ever season was 5 years ago with 14. He averaged around 10 when he played for Burnley.
Origi’s best ever season was 7 years ago with 7.
Think we would struggle big time. That is of course worse case scenario and lets not think about it too much, Im sure EM would act in January if we were really stuck.

Everyone needs to chip have goals in Sangare/danilo/yates/santos/Dominguez/Mangala those 6 should have 10-12 between them this season . nuno got 6 last year need out CB’s getting a couple from set peices didnt get many last year . CHO and Elanga should be able to get Brennan’s Goal contributions between them .
MGW’s numbers should be higher .
With a bit more control in CM which we should have hopefully we Will create more .

I'm hoping MGW numbers are so low due to playing wide left rather than through the middle. Can't really judge him until he's in his natural 10 position but it is a worry that he rarely threatens goal

Still very difficult to call.

Our performances are clearly much better. We seem to have bought well in the market. But, it needs to translate to points.

I thought we'd sneak in around 10 - 12th place. I'm still hopeful of that....

No, I went for 11th, and so far, nothing I have seen changes my mind. I hope we can do better but I think 11th would show real progress.

Yes I agree 11th would be excellent and show we are well and truly heading in the right direction and starting to look upwards instead of downwards.

10-14th probably, I do think it will be very tight from about 9th downwards though. Won't be loads of points between 11th and 15th.

Said before that how we perform is as much a part of it for me. We need to show we belong in the PL and not be hanging on by our fingernails. With that in mind would prefer another 16th place but playing some decent football to finishing 11th by sneaking a few 1-0s and parking the bus.

I'm confident we won't be relegated. That's all that matters for me. Cooper will still be our manager in the summer too.
