May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 08-09-2023 I am 100% sure we won't be in the bottom 3 or top 3. 95% sure we won't be bottom 6 or top 6. I am going for a 10th place finish which I would consider a great success and we continue to evolve and look to improve on 10th place the following season. There'd need to be some decent teams have seasons below their expectations Sniff for us to finish 10th, but i think that's a realistic expectation now. I bet the big man would take that. RE: May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 08-09-2023 EM won't rest and relax until we are in Europe! He may have to be a little patient for that but patience is not his strongest point! He wants it now! RE: May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - stefanduma - 08-09-2023 Looking at the table, I would like us to finish 11th and that is above. teams such as Chelsea. RE: May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - Salvatore Matrecano - 08-09-2023 14th Maybe only be 5 or 6 points separating 9th to 16th so anywhere in that lot is fine. How we play is as important as where we finish I reckon. We cant be playing low block, pinch a point with 20% possession all season again. That’s from someone who fully agreed with that tactic last season as the only viable way. RE: May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - Paplane - 08-09-2023 Looking at the current table, 3 of Newcastle, Chelsea, Man Utd and Villa would need to finish below us or we would have to displace West Ham, Palace or Brentford. 10th, half way, sounds doable until you look at the teams we have to overtake. RE: May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - Paplane - 08-09-2023 Id take a comfortable, no dramas, 13th. Exactly when I was talking about a reality check yesterday Pap. That said I don’t think Palace look strong. West Ham have spent Rice money well but its always hit and miss there. Chelsea look like they have bought the wrong kids to me. We can overtake a few, there is always someone who does well too, Bournemouth? Just not being in any danger of relegation all season would be good enough progress for me. RE: May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - Reds73 - 08-09-2023 I would say 13th is probably about par. But I would say 10th is absolutely highest I think we could finish. RE: May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - wassy04 - 08-09-2023 I would.hope to finish above Burnley, Luton, Sheff U, Everton and Wolves. So then we're competing with Bournemouth (similar business to us), Fulham, Palace, Brentford. I would have par at 15th and somewhere around 11th as a realistic target. Feels like there's a potential for a three tier league this year. Top 7 plus Villa and Brighton (maybe West Ham). Then us Palace. Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth in tier 2. Then bottom 5 in tier 3. Would take a lot to get near that tier 1. Not like we've managed to win a game convincingly yet since we went up. RE: May 2024 Where Will We Finish? - McDurban - 08-09-2023 I'm looking at 55 points which should see them finish 10th. They are certainly going to do better away and hopefully keep the WFCG a fortress. |
