I wouldn’t watch Take That if you paid me but I did see REM at the CG years ago and to be honest it was bloody awful, crap acoustics and no atmosphere. Not sure we have a stadium that suits concerts.

If it is a concert and it's after the end of the season that would suggest no work on the new stand to have started by then.

This has been announced for Sunday 26th May now, which is quite soon after the season finishes. So I guess we *could* start work on the stand (should we be in a position to) after then.

On a side note I wonder how much were being paid and will some of the facilities be up to scratch by then ?

He he, given the fact that the vast majority in attendance will be females, can you imagine the queue to go to the bog at the interval? The WFCG will have never seen anything like it before!!!

Not totally NFFC focussed but found an interesting Twitter account @Other14The it focusses on stats etc of teams not in the traditional big 6, has been going since 2018 so obviously that’s the Manchester teams, the 3 London teams and Liverpool. People can scroll at their leisure but wanted to show a few interesting things.

here I am surprised MGW’s expected assist through 5 games would be so low but seems like he’s on course with it.

This is a measure of so far through 5 games how well are we on target to get 39 points based on games against the other teams not in the big 6, WHam have only played the big 6 so far which is why there number is so high.

This is interesting and pretty much tells its own story

For goals against we’re pretty much bang on what was expected so far

Expected goals for were doing better then expected, Everton doing really bad, Brighton doing crazily better

This is a number I expect cooper wants to change as quickly as possible

We also need to get better at shot accuracy so far through 5 games

I think that his stats were shared, but for his first game having only trained with the team the Friday before the game, more of the same please

These are really interesting but 5 games where the opposition varies wildly is not really comparative. These will be interesting to look at after 19 games.

Ive been following TheOther14 since promotion and whilst you can read too much into individual stats there are some interesting trends.

For virtually the whole of last season Forest were in bottom place for pretty well every statistic such as XG, progressive passes, pass accuracy, shots on goal, pretty much anything you can think of. As for individual players the only names ever to trouble the table were defenders, usually Worrall or Felipe for clearances, interstingly Neco Williams was always high up there for tackles/interceptions.

However that was it, bar the odd appearance for MGW none of our midfield or forward players ever made an appearance, it was all pretty damning. I never liked to raise it on here for fear of sounding negative, as I said individual stats can be misleading ut collectively you start to think we looked pretty rubbish.

Now the good bit….
As you can see, we are no longer bottom in a lot of things! There is a vast improvement this season, passes, XG etc look healthier. Creative players are starting to make an impact and are mentioned up there with some of the bigger names. All in all it’s pointing to a much better place this year and well worth following to see if the improvement continues.

Hopeful, meaningful fan engagement coming to the city ground (and all prem clubs)

Might even apply for one of the singular fan places

Does fan engagement mean they will listen to fans who are asking them to provide basic standards of hygiene in the form of running water in the toilets?

Don't you carry hand gel SM?

I wouldn't touch the taps with a barge pole.
