We spent 40m on transfers in for year 1 of their contracts, we made sales of 4.25m, probably had 10m took off that seasons ffp Cus of the charity shirt sponsor. My total doesn’t take into account loan fees though.

This year with new signings and the 2nd year of prem players amortisation we’ve spent 70m but have sales of 55m, with nearly all of that pure profit, we have the 10m shirt sponsor too.

You’ll need to recognise the remaining cost of Freuler’s fee? Can’t recall if there’s anyone else

I think they'll record it as a sale and a purchase of Dominguez separately so there would be some fee attached to Freuler.

Seen a table not where from can’t vouch for any kind of accuracy but

Spend £92.4m
Sales £47.5m
Net £44.9m

Net expenditure of £45m is only 13th highest in the PL this season. We have the 10th highest overall spend.

Sales is surely higher than that? Wasn't Brennan 47.5m on his own?!

What none of us know including whoever wrote that table is how deals are structured. We don’t know if we got all £47m for Brennan up front or if there is some kind of appearance based add on.
It could well be though its lazy work and they havent included £5m Surridge and whatever valuation we had on Freuler. Don’t think anyone else left for a fee yet?

Freuler would have been either break even or a slight profit. For example if they bought him for 10m and we spent 18m on Dominguez then it would be better than freuler free and 8m for Dominguez. That in effect would mean we book a 6-8m loss on freuler and then have the 8m costing us approx. 10m this year.

From what we have done I think we actually have booked 2m profit on freuler and amortised the Dominguez over 5 years…

Freuler probably counts as a fee for the accounts. According to Transfermarkt Ojeda and Drager have a fee listed. They have it as around £55m

Freuler was clearly a loss

But not a huge one on that Dominguez in last year of contract

Another question- when do you think EM bought the club? A clue is he may have let a friend help out for a bit - just to see what the craic was.

This is an interesting read and for once written in a language I can vaguely understand.
Based on a bit of guesswork and assumptions but over all seems pretty positive.

We have taken a looa out from the sale of Brennan Johnson. Future installments paid directly to the bank instead of us.
