I'm quite surprised some are just brushing this off.

The Mail aren't the most reliable source, granted, but even so. I think I'm one of the more forgiving posters on here regarding how the club operates but this has irritated me because it just shouldn't be allowed to happen. Or, if there are genuine legitimate reasons as to why it has happened then the club should come out and say so.

I don't just want Forest to perform well on the pitch I want them to be respected and admired for how they operate off it as well. The club should aspire to be held up as an example and model of how clubs should be run and it seems like they're a long way from this at the moment.

No offense sausage, but I can't believe some are giving this any credibility. 

'Mail Sport understands'. What else do you need to just chuck the paper in the bin? No source named, no evidence. What exactly is the club supposed to come out and say? So sorry Mr/Mrs Dontfriggingknowwhoyouare. We take your complaint very seriously and will address it as soon as we can, but our apologies, we're busy trying to buy a goalkeeper for the new season. Give us a couple of weeks would ya!?

If there is something in it and someone is actually going to take us to court, then Forest better not say anything as it could very easily compromise their defence. 

Seriously, why are some of us so quick to believe the negative crap peddled by the worst newspapers in the world for their moral obligations and lie to us every single day about everything. It seriously baffles me, and don't get me started on how some Tweet on Twatter can send everyone into a complete tail spin.

There is normally an element of truth in articles like this However it may be he has been contacted by a single disgruntled agent with a disputed payment and has blown the rest of it up into a sensationalist story.

I really wouldn’t read too much into it without a lot more details. This regime has always been efficient on this sort of thing as far as we know.

That's incredibly poor on the club's part, letting things get to the state where a player needs to bring in a third party to get what they're owed.

It's literally out of the Fawaz playbook! Didn't Sabri take the club to arbitration last year too? Assuming Dane did as well. People say it's a nothing story and that the money will be paid this month but even if it is paid this month it's still damaging to get that kind of reputation (or in our case regain that kind of reputation)

Im not sure Id be happy giving Linguard any money at all based on contribution and other issues.
