Evangelos Marinakis And Co
Cooper deserves another shot with a fully fit squad, especially now he's taken my advice on how to set up!

I think it came across all wrong. He was trying to say that he couldnt expect to find a better manager than Cooper. It was a compliment!

Aye I think it’s hard to take what he said not in his native language fully at face value

3 months till the start of the season he’s worked with all the players now some over 1 window some over 2. If EM did flip the switch how long is it gonna take before the new managers appointed, how long is it gonna take them to get the feel of the squad? What if they hate 5 at the back and wing backs? It feels to much on a knife edge to make that decision without knowing whether that will lead us to finish higher then we do this season

We know the big man is passionate and I'm hoping that he meant he would not have found a better manager than cooper so why sack him.

EM:

'Many dialogues with Steve Cooper, some good and some bad'.

Did i detect EM wiping his eyes at the end? If he did, it just shows how passionate he is about our club!

Long may it continue, along with Steve Cooper  :Thumb:

I see them as an unlikely double act, bringing the best out of each other.

EM just needs to appoint a few more Sporting Directors so we've got some people to sack when we lose a few games next season!

Funny how the perception of signings can change through a season. Whoever bought in Felipe and Danilo has got a real eye for a player. Funnily enough Syrianos was sacked for bringing in Awoniyi and Mangala, who have both proven to be immense players for us once they’ve adapted to the league. In many ways Mangala has been my unsung player of the season. I hope we start next season well enough to keep sacking speculation at bay, for both the manager and backroom team

Not to read anything into this but I find it interesting:

Antonio Cordon has joined up with EM at Olympiakos.

Cordon in the past has hired Pellegrini, Jardim and Valverde.

Cordon's first job will be to find a new coach for EM (for Olympiakos).

And he can stay at Oly for the moment. 12 games in next year should be the next review of the managers performance - not a minute earlier.
