I'm sure there are 8 other owners that have spent similar amounts to us that feel the same too.

30 signings and let down?
I expect that Charnley bloke who's weaseled his way in probably had something to do with us throwing a load of money at Newcastle for their dregs.
With regards to 30 signings quantity ≠ quality, for a long time there have been too many people at the club trying to do transfers, no manager will bring the level of success Marinakis wants here while that's the way of operating, it might work in Greece where Olympiacos have a squad of about 45 players and very little in the way of actual competition but it won't work here.

It did work we got promoted and we are in the PL and Olympiakos like us and everyone else can only have a squad of 25 player's to choose from.
Charnley's got nothing to do with transfers and Newcastle definitely don't need our money.
If you are looking for someone to blame for the January transfer business then Steve is your man. He got his player's and he proved it by putting them straight into his team.
Keep blaming EM and all things Greek though if that suits your agenda.
Everyone is to blame except Steve Cooper it seems who can do no wrong in some peoples eyes.

Charnley must be picking the team lads not Cooper because Wood and Shelvey are starting every game.

I don't have an agenda against the Greeks, I want us to be a successful club but at the moment I think they're failing and while that is the case I think they need to be held accountable.
I'll take your word on Charnley but I'm not sure it's just coincidence that he rocks up and then we spend a load of money at his old club.
Players currently registered at Olympiacos: Ramon, Retsos, M'Villa, Fortunis, Rodriguez, El-Arabi, Androutsos, Papastathopoulos, Bytyqi, Vrousai, Masouras, Biel, Rodinei, Ba, Kasami, Valbuena, Kristinsson, Hwang, Samassékou, Reabciuk, Canos, Cisse, Ndoj, Rodrigues, Tzolakis, Paschalakis, Bakambu, Kane, Pepe, Carvalho, Kunde, Camara, Onyekuru, Zinckernagel, Lovera, Fadiga, Dabo, Bouchalakis, Hassan, Kamala
And that's not counting some of the 19/20/21 year olds, its too much and it mirrors what's happening here. We can't just keep buying players and turning the squad over otherwise we're gonna end up in a huge financial hole and relegated anyway.
All this before we even get onto the subject of probably losing Cat1, the new training centre(?), the new stand(?) Etc.
Marinakis said "I don't make promises I deliver" and at the moment, I'm sorry but I don't think he is delivering in the way he could and did last season. Promotion is all well and good but it won't mean much other than way more expensive season tickets if we just go down again and coming back up is no guarantee, we know that better than any other team. Also I don't think Cooper is perfect at all, we've been shocking away from home and he has to take some of the blame there but I also do believe he's been let down by those above him this season. So like I say, no agenda but if I see failings I'm gonna call it out.

There is a lot of conjecture around who does what role at the club
Last season we mainly used a small core squad of around 16 players that were successful. Hasn’t been possible this season due to injuries. However it does seem at odds with Marinakis’s go to strategy.
Charnley involvement. No idea but we have a history of buying turds from Newcastle IMO, Colback the honourable exception.
People we know are definitely involved in the playing squad Cooper and Giraldi (who seems to get forgotten about).
Cat 1 Marinakis delivered on but we remain concerned that development of the academy hasn’t progressed and we are currently being audited R73 will Im sure update us when he can.

Look I like Steve Cooper and I don't want Steve Cooper to lose his job.
All I am saying is that he needs to take SOME of the blame for the current position we find ourselves in, the current squad of player's we have and our current form and style of play and most importantly our results.
I am sure that Steve would will admit that too if he is honest with himself.
There can be no blind loyalty to anyone I don't care who it is.

There is no need to blame anyone - we’re doing exactly what we expected to do

Don't think we expected to take 2 points from the last 18 and be bottom of the current form table (except for Palace) at such a crucial point of the season.
I get your point though, many expected a relegation fight and that is what we have but for me it's more about the way we are heading, our current form and our awful performances especially away from home.
Also Steve's job this season was to establish us in the PL, we shouldn't lose sight of that.
