I thought I was fuming. Cooper proper annoyed.
As he said (paraphrasing)- there was more than enough out there today to win that game. Lots of Premier League experience and top end of Championship.
There was a sense of entitlement and I hate that.
Spot on.

I don't think we deserved to lose. Some terrible defending and finishing cost us. Surridge could have scored 3 himself.
Williams, O Brien, Cook and Surridge in particular, were bad today.

Cooper’s aftermatch comments are right. We did give up after conceding two goals with enough time left to potentially get something. For me that is the biggest worry. If we are going to survive in the premier league we are going to have to fight like anything right up to the end in every match. The team has got to believe they are capable of getting something out of every game. The teams mental attitude was weak today and suggests we are not very resilient when the chips are down. That might be one of the reasons why when we lose we tend to lose big. We need to put that right quickly. Any team can have an off day miss some chances, make a few errors at the back and concede goals, but teams which give in when that happens do not give themselves a chance to put it right and inevitably get relegated.

Oh dear, Im glad I could only see the first half. All the above sounds dreadful, should I give the highlights a miss then...

The players felt sorry for themselves for missing chances and giving away two soft goals. Do that in league games relegation is inevitable.

Every cloud has a silver lining.........that performance will hopefully end quite a few players time at NFFC. They will be gone sooner rather than later.
Now we want an angry response on Wednesday. and thrash Wolves.
