Qatar 2022 & The Forest Involvement

What a 24 hrs or so. Met Cafu (THE Cafu), appeared on Rio Ferdinands Instagram story and saw Ronald de Boar, Xavi and Bebeto!
Had Cat 1 tickets for England Wales. Had my flag confiscated by over zealous security (all Turkish), then played in Fans World Cup - topped group easily.

Then watched France lose at fan park where Tunisia fans were quite happy to say least.

Pleased for Matty Cash, but gutted for Mexico-best fans in tournament bar none.

Come on England.

There were hundreds and hundreds of flags in the stadium Zico so why did they confiscate yours?

Turks you said, ok that explains it, the Turks obviously knew about the Forest Greek connection.

The security actually don't have a clue. Flag is plain England flag, but was a few inches too big. Not had a problem anywhere else, just picked wrong check point.
Also had my matchball confiscated on way into Fans World Cup-even though we were given it by FIFA guys day before inside! 
In truth  we tend to pretend not to understand them and walk off in most circumstances and they leave you alone.

I actually wonder if some have been paid by our media to peddle the myth about Qstar, as only act like Gestapo when film crews and cameras on them. 

Hasn't spoilt experience as Qatari folk are fantastic hosts  which makes up for weird security.

Bumped into a few Forest here. Loads about.

Another mad day today, woke up to find an article in The Times about me and my daughter by a journalist we've never even met. Then tonnes of requests for interviews. Ended up ITN news interviewing my daughter in our Digs. A small part of the interview appeared on News at 10 about Women refs. 

Mad day.

Tomorrow we play Holland in 2nd round of the fans World Cup at 10am!!!! Best 2 players (and 3 others) have gone home. Our squad of 11 is down to 6. Its 5 a side but very hot. Think we may struggle.
