As nice as it was for Tunisia to get a consolation win, VAR strikes again.
If the France equaliser was offside then I don’t understand the rules. Not sure I have for some time now. They seem to make it up as they go along.

I read it was that the striker had interfered with the defender's header by being there (which is true) so they said offside. It's definitely what the rule should be, not convinced that's what the actual rule is right now!

Dont think he was interring at all. Griezmann was clearly running back from an offside position and not involved in that play after which Tunisia had the ball. He was onside in the next play when the ball came to him. Dont see under the current rules how that’s offside.
Yet another example of how VAR interferes with decisions that are obviously subjective and alters the outcmes of games.Bad decision for bad decision I would prefer ti to be left to the referee.

Yeah but the defender's header is clearly affected by his presence when he heads it as he thinks if he leaves it he'll score. It definitely should be offside, not sure whether in the current rules it's right though. f**k VAR

So now the job of VAR is to second guess what the defender is thinking, whether he is trying to cover or if in fact he is just a shit defender?
Its total bullshit. Yes fxxx VAR

For gods sake it was never a penalty. The game's been ruined, it really has. I bet if you polled every single fan who watches football, worldwide, the majority would vote to dump it.

I keep seeing all these stats on my tv screen about turnovers etc and I haven't got a f*****g clue what they are talking about.
Yes, me too, what is a reception? I thought they were talking about Weddings!

Is it more American rubbish being rammed down our throats. As if we don't have enough of that S**t already with Halloween and Black Friday etc.
Halloween isn't American Sniff. Trick or Treat is though.
Halloween stems back to before Christianity arrived in Britain and was a pagan celebration, also known as Samwain (pronouced Sow wain). It is believed by Pagans, even to this day, that Halloween is the time when the veil between the living world and the dead world is at its thinnest.
Anyway.................. back to the football.

What a 24 hrs or so. Met Cafu (THE Cafu), appeared on Rio Ferdinands Instagram story and saw Ronald de Boar, Xavi and Bebeto!
Had Cat 1 tickets for England Wales. Had my flag confiscated by over zealous security (all Turkish), then played in Fans World Cup - topped group easily.
Then watched France lose at fan park where Tunisia fans were quite happy to say least.
Pleased for Matty Cash, but gutted for Mexico-best fans in tournament bar none.
Come on England.

There were hundreds and hundreds of flags in the stadium Zico so why did they confiscate yours?
Turks you said, ok that explains it, the Turks obviously knew about the Forest Greek connection.
