Potentially, but hey, as long as Cooper stays to have a fair crack again because he will get us straight back up, even though its not guaranteed, thats all we want isn't it? After 23 years away, to keep a manager over staying up
And your evidence that Benitez or, more likely, some foreign coach you’ve never heard of will keep us up or stick around to get us back up, is where exactly?
The only one I would have some confidence in is Dyche assuming he is still available if and when we change manager but even then I would prefer to stick with what we have.
I was going to type the same, why is some new manager more likely to keep us up? Statistically there's no evidence of this whatsoever, new managers tend to get a short boost followed by finishing lower than they started. Didn't work last year for Norwich, Watford, Villa, Burnley, Leeds stayed up be default but now look dreadful, Everton broke even maybe, Wolves are worse since they changed manager. That's literally everyone that's changed manager, where's the success story?
Also, a new manager would've literally done what Cooper did these last few games, basically go 10 behind the ball, sort the defence then try and rebuild slowly.

Dyche has turned down an offer from Bournemouth.

Well that win stops us from getting cut adrift at the bottom and puts the pressure on the teams around us. Also kinda makes the Arsenal game a free hit, as I'm sure we'd all have taken two draws from these two matches but we've already got more points than that.

I was prepared for 2 points before New Year.
Now looking at a minimum of 5 but optimistic for 7 or 8.

Yep, really takes the pressure off now. If we can go down there and keep it respectable then it'll be job done from those two games. 3 points, we'd all have settled for that.

Wonder what Gerrard thinks of that.
Leicester 2-0 up at Wolves as well which is annoying. Draw would've been ideal.

Leicester will pull away, I wouldn't worry about them. They just had tough early fixtures.
Leeds losing is good although manager sacking incoming.
Southampton drawing with Arsenal is annoying although shows what can be done!

We've had our games on Sky, BT and Amazon , what, 6 or 7 times and now the Man Utd and Chelsea games too? That's got to be more than 'average' prem teams, hasn't it? Or is this normal?
