I bet he's chuffed with that. And we should be too, the more exposure to top level squads the better.

Cooper’s choice if ex Swansea? Therefore good news about him continuing to build his team and be here for the long haul?
Or am I reading too much into it?

Have we decided not to bother with shirt sponsorship this season?

Seems like a silly waste of money.

Chicago: Just wondering.

Well it does seem a strange decision
Dan Taylor said we had turned down 5.5m for shirt sponsorship and 1m for sleeve sponsorship.
Marinakis said to be demanding 10m which is out of line for a newly promoted team.

Unfortunately the fault with Marinakis is his expectations are often out of line with reality, same goes for results on the pitch.

Someone called Pep Segura apparently close to being appointed as Forest's Sporting Director.

I'd love to know what the distinction is between a role like this and a Director of Football (of which we already have one).

Segura was assistant and then caretaker manager at Oly in 2008, was also Cooper's mentor in the Liverpool academy and Cooper says that Segura helped define his coaching and tactical style. Most recently academy and general manager at Barca so he's got some pedigree in the game and the bonus of ties to our existing hierarchy and coach.
