The problem that the only place for away fans being the Lower Bridgford is rearing its head once again.
900 Forest fans (and many of our most vocal fans) are having their season tickets moved despite having already renewed them.

Yep and we'll have the issue again where Lower Bridgeford is the loudest stand again with best acoustics. A Block sounds great when you're in it but outside of it the sound doesn't travel that far. Hope this is factored into the new stand

I somehow can't see the new stand being able to offer better accoustics than the Bridgford End wassy, due to the height of the roof. I don't understand why the club cannot look at a way of putting away fans in the Clough stand, or would it cause problems with the corporate box owners? Other clubs have managed to do it, it is just a shame we cannot do it. The Bridgford End is by far the best stand for singing in and it is a worry we may lose some of our incredible noise when getting behind the team now!

Unfortunately Tricky whilst I understand why the vast majority love the City Ground and never want to leave there are multiple problems with it that will cost a heck of a lot to fix. Economic sense would 100% tell you to move to a new ground although Im not saying it would be the correct decision.
As I have said before the only place for away fans is the LB and the only place the police will allow without extensive reconstruction work. The BC stand and corporate facilities therein are hopelessly outdated. The Trent end is a bit of a mess with its underused legends lounge in the middle of 2 tiers which kills the atmosphere of the old home end. Finally we know the problems they are having updating the PT stand. If we want to stay we have to put up with all of these issues. That said all of the above is far better than a soulless bowl somewhere off the ringroad with no other amenities, pubs etc.

An archaeological survey has been added to the planning portal in the last day and is the first document added since Nov 21

Little update ⤴️: #NFFC had to commission an archaeological report as part of planning application.
It's now been filed: report states 'low/moderate' risk of finding buried deposits beneath CG. So that's one box ticked ✅ <insert joke here about finding Fawaz's missing FA Cup> ~ Dan Taylor.
