If Horvath is as bad as some are trying to make out on here, wouldn't he have been offloaded during the last transfer window and we would be out looking for a replacement?

For me it is very STRAIGHTFORWARD. Horvath now has his opportunity and he must step up to the plate.

Big chance for him and if he grabs it he will stay in the team good luck to the lad.

Cooper didn't dig him out to the media after the game but that's not to say he didnt in the dressing room. There's the occasional glimpse of frustration with Samba on the touchline from Cooper but nothing excessive. Be interesting to see if Cooper feels he can do better in the summer or whether he feels he can deal with him.

I thought Cooper got the balance spot on. He didn't dig him out to the media, but also didn't defend his actions. Then said next man up.

So if Hovath does well Samba will not automatically get the no1 jersey back. Samba will have at least 3 games to watch from the sideline/stands and I imagine he will do a lot of reflecting during that time.

I just think the pressure of the big games just got to him. On that basis a few weeks out and time to reflect might do him good. 

Im pretty sure Horvath was brought in as a number 2, despite all the usual stuff said when he first came, so without seeing how he perforns, I reckon Brice will be back at the earliest opportunity.

Ive just got this massive cloud of doom in my head at the moment. I cant help think this sending off is the turning point of our season. I'm usually a glass half full type. Maybe im just a miserable git of late.

So far we are doing fine without our captain and leading scorer, and has shown we have genuine different options, hopefully Horvarth can be the same.

I would not be surprised in the slightest if we go after Freddie Woodman in the summer.

It's just that I care so much Salv. When the levels get higher and everyone's ambition lifts, so the fall is greater when it all goes wrong. So when I see our excellent keeper make such a poor error, that impacts onto our next few games too it hurts and I'm waiting for the fall away to start (the 'death sipral' as the Stoke fans were calling it!).

Everyone's saying the draw on Saturday felt like a win due to the circumstances. I don't feel that at all. I'm worrying about another flat performance and regretting the loss of what should have been a home win. I'm feeling it here.

In regards the performance pap, I think you need to remember the effort that went in to the Leicester and Blackburn game earlier in the week. Those performances took there toll in this one. Our energy just was not what it normally is. The 3 game week is a killer and it showed in this one.

Sunday - magnificent performance - left nothing on the pitch
Wednesday - clinical and a battling physical performance against a team who threw the kitchen sink at us despite the 10 men
Saturday- against a team rejuvenated through signing a frontline and reinforcement in midfield with players of good pedigree. They kept the ball well and pressed us high. Found a way to get in front despite some inconsistency in reffing. With 10 men with a decent amount of injury time somehow managed to claw a draw back whilst totally negating the fact we had Worrall in goal.

Very proud and worth every penny spent following the team. Very proud of our teams performances…

Around me in upper BC, there were a lot of angry people at the red card and penalty. Quite a few left as they thought we'd (and ref) shot ourselves in the foot and thrown the game.

The ability of the players (especially Garner, Yates) to keep going and get a goal back, could well be a defining moment in our season. It showed such character.
It was a big single point, as it stopped Stoke gaining points on us.

I read/heard somewhere that we are either top or 2nd in league for 90+ mins goals.
I'm still massively optimistic about this team and this season.

Don't forget that we are by rights well ahead of where we should be as a club given the position we were in when Cooper arrived.

Finishing top half this season would still be an excellent achievement.
