What we have improved at home is the amount we are conceding, we have 3 clean sheets in a row at home now, that enables you to really put a string of results together, previously we always had to score 2 to win a game at home. It has been an improvement.

Now we need a run of home victories to back up our away results. Things are turning.

I don’t disagree and our run has been great but PPG at home, pre and post Cooper, hasn’t been good enough yet to be a top side…I think the real issue is probably down to lack of differing options on the bench.

I’ll take a scruffy 96th minute one nil win with it going in off Colback’s arse.

3 wins, 3 draws and a loss to Fulham. Not too bad really, one of the draws we were on top before the red card for Colback too.

They key thing with any "home" game is the away side tries to turn the home crowd against the home team.

Two things are important here.......an early goal AND/OR the crowd staying right behind the team.

The advantage we have at the moment is Spence and Johnson. They have the ability to make fast direct runs which gets everyone excited and keeps the crown entertained and hopeful even if the score is 0-0.

Keeping Spence is key to success past January imo............he is a key part of the total equation.

I agree with this.

Forest fans do have a reputation for turning on the side if things aren't going our way, which plays into the away sides advantage. Most sides know this and try to stifle us from playing our usual game in a bid to frustrate the fans and get us to turn on the side.

As JW states, the forward bursts on the counter attack do get our fans bums off of their seats and that roar as the fans urge either Johnno or Spence on is spine tingling.

Spence (and Lowe) has been a revelation since he came into the side and is a major part in our turn in fortunes and upturn in form

Arrive early for this one or risk missing the kick off. I'm sure things won't go smoothly.

All these games postponed now due to covid:

Cardiff v Sheep
Millwall v Preston
QPR v Swansea
Reading v Luton

Only a matter of time until we have players out with Covid or our games are postponed.

The old 'win this' game and...*waves wand.

Under previous managers, Forest would choke such games.  The pivotal 'must win' ended with Forest losing.

We'll see if this curse can be broken once and for all.
