I'm not doubting him, I never have TBH, but last night did feel like he was passing backwards more than he has been doing of late. Could he have challenged Dykes better for their goal? I don't think he could. He did allow Dykes to get goal side of him, but other than that, you have to question why Worrall wasn't marking their big player, so I don't think he can be at fault there.

Some of us never did (think its well documented that I've said he will be a Prem player)
That J-curve that young players pretty much all go through is most certainly on the upwards trajectory at present.
Mighten and Garner are younger, less experienced and further behind on that development, but both will be top players.
Johnson is an interesting one as so far his trajectory has almost been exclusively an upwards one. Sure a vocal small minority of our fans will "let him know" when he has a inevitable struggle for form in the future, or flood social media with their bile.

Lowe was marking Dyes at the time bit when the cross came over he dropped to the far post which is what most full backs do. For me Mckenna should then have picked the striker up, it was a clever move but no excuse for Dykes being in so much space.
Yes Yates was excellent again, if I have one complaint I would like him to cut out some of the wingeing to the ref. Maybe we would get the odd pen if we weren’t moaning so much all the time.
