Our new CEO was hand picked by Vrentzos by the way as was many of our current squad but we will ignore all that.
Like myself and Salvatore said it's a pity that Cooper didn't get the chance to work with some of our old signings but it's all water under the bridge now.
So would Cooper get a tune out of Arter? Presumably he'd be cover for Yates or Colback if he came back. What about Ribeiro? Would he have been decent as a wing back? Gabriel looked half decent on Saturday too?. Both have gone so it's irrelevant now but Cooper's got Brennan going after what I thought was a fairly average start, he's found Zinc's sweet spot too. Could he get Carvalho playing? Da Costa? (maybe a step too far with him).

Could Cooper have got a tune out of Semedo, Bostock, Tiago Silva, Benalouane, Milosevic, Janko, Bridcutt, Yacob, Soudani and Freeman just to name a few off the top of my head. I would say in most cases, Yes.

Disagree, there are very few of those players who would suit how we currently set up and most of them were either not good enough or just here for the pay day. Very glad we have moved forward.

I'd love to know what went off with Yacob. He was signed but not selected for ages, came into the side and did well for MoN and then was dropped and disappeared.

Me too why do people keep bringing his name up which then gives me an urge to respond every time.
Can we just leave him alone. He's gone now and he ain't coming back.

It just pisses me off that sometimes this forum turns into a f*****g playground............" He said this and he said that, It's his fault "
Any wannabe writers out there fancy making a pantomime based on the ramblings of some of these posters on here? I'm sure it would be a classic!! :P

Really pleased for Lyle Taylor who has had a bit of a rough ride since he signed for us.
He's a good talker too, comes across as an educated man. I have a feeling he might just make a good manager for somebody one day.
