But Lowe was S**t, Spence was S**t and it was obvious that Vrentzos was still involved and pulling all the strings and Dane was ready to quit right?
I dont personally recall anyone saying that Sniff, I think you got the 2 signings that were questioned on deadline day wrong, they are spelt Drager, who you said we were looking at long before Dane arrived I recall, and Silva who has the same agent that we have used repeatedly under Vrentzos, so a slight difference but keep banging that drum :D
And currently neither have contributed.
Erm, I said Lowe was S**t thank you very much.
The wider debate was deadline day, thought he arrived before then :D

Seriously, a first real test for Dane and his data driven approach is whether the lad from Paraguay is any good. He'll have no knowledge or experience of the championship so it'll be more of a pure test of the data.

To my credit, I also said that Tutu was a major risk of a signing, with Cardiff saying nice things about him but not actually re-signing him, and with his poor injury record.

We all agree then, plus points for both Dane & Vrentzoz when all is good, both are shit when not so good!

I will say this only once but I think it's becoming clear that the real problem was not so much Vrentzos but the manager.
We will never find out but I would have loved to have seen what Cooper could possibly have done with some of our previous signings.

It's easy to say this when results pick up but to shift the blame onto previous managers and not Vrentzos is a bit of a strange thing to say.

As I have said why is it just one person’s fault when things are going wrong? And why should just one person take the credit when things improve?
The pace and energy in the team this season is about more than just the manager. It is about having players who want to be here, for once we actually targeted younger players suited to counter attacking quickly. Last season we had Dad’s army, yep the recruitment, but that wasnt solely one persons fault, there was a team deciding the strategy. This season there philosophy may be different form the top but a team has made the decisions and to be fair they havent got them all right IMO.
Then there is the manager. Would Cooper have got last seasons bunch of overpaid geriatrics to perform like this seasons squad? Maybe he would have done better and you can point to Colbacks recent performances. Similarly if we had stuck with Hughton this season you could have concluded Dane had got things completely wrong.
Lets just say its early days but in my eyes we have a young hungry squad, a young ambitious manager and a backroom team that at last all seem to be pulling in the right direction.

Eh? I have no gripe with Vrentzos or Dane Murphy as I knew little about both but Vrentzos has been gone since the start of the season. Results picked up immediately after the last manager left the building. And it wasn't a slight improvement in form, it's instantly gone from lose every week relegation form to win every week auto promotion form. Our acclaimed centre forward is scoring goals again and there's confidence and talent oozing through the side again. How can you say that's not down the change of manager? It's an incredible coincidence if it not. (Or am I being think and haven't understood the point you're making. Excuse me if I am).

Some can pretend that Sabri after the Covid restart was brilliant and Hughton for the whole of his tenure was magic it's up to them if they want to believe that and blame everything on one man Vrentzos.
Our new CEO was hand picked by Vrentzos by the way as was many of our current squad but we will ignore all that.
Like myself and Salvatore said it's a pity that Cooper didn't get the chance to work with some of our old signings but it's all water under the bridge now.
