Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager
just seen the SC milwall post match interview

it's like he can't believe the situation is real, he seems overwhelmed with emotion, positive excitement emotion

it's like it should be .. a dream job and it seems he views it as a mission to bring the fans wins and excitement and progress

long may this 'buzz' continue

there was quite a clever corner routine in the game as well

'i only put 1 defender on the bench because i wanted to focus on attacking and winning the game'

He seemed emotionally caught up in it all before kick off.

Nice to see

So the 'hairs on the back of his neck stood up' , eh?

Welcome to the City Ground and Mull of...and the Forest faithful.

It's nice to hear a new 'coach' talk of Forest in passionate (and not muted) terms. (With him 'just staring at the crowd and not the pitch.).

He had his family there to see his debut as Forest coach. Pity we couldn't get the win. (But he's got the same tools as Hughton to work with or had...) and Forest played pretty similarly to me. Bright start, fell away. Had more of 'a go' in the second half and made a slice of luck. (It's hard to see where the goals are going to come from without Grabban.)

It's all very positive. And he'll need it. This isn't Swansea on parachute payments with a well established plan. This is poisoned chalice Forest who have just (in fairness) started a plan. (B.). A plan they should have had years ago.

As he said, 'We're going to play better...' and it's going to take time. (And he said he was interested in a 'project' where a team was 'struggling.' So he's got one in Forest.)

I've resisted the urge to do a 'temperature' check thread. As he said, 'I'm only interested in the positive, I know we've got things to work on.'

Impressed with Cooper so far really like listening to him too always positive and always talking about us and what we can do and not the opposition.

Yes Cooper certainly talks a good game which is very refreshing lets hope we do the talking on the pitch too.

I personnelly like the screaming from the dug out of be brave on the ball. Bring the player closer and out of position. Go forward and a play in their third. Drive them back. Control the game.

Good to hear that direction from The Coach.

Loved Cooper's comment after the match last night when he said that you can't attack with just 3 players. Such a breath of fresh air after Hughton.

Yep it was. Can you imagine the fans' reaction if Hughton had started without a striker? And I also found it amusing when Colback came on to shore up the midfield. CH would've been slaughtered. Its amazing how the same players can look so different with a different mindset and when given freedom to play.

Colback came on and it was like the colback of old getting forward pressing the ball and passing forwards wow !!!! And Yates’y my days played more forward passes last night than in a season under CH and looked good doing it , he also won so many 50/50’s and second balls last night like a different player also tried doing same against Millwall Saturday long may it continue SC might be great for yates’y development.
