Evangelos Marinakis And Co
The photo does get posted if the team are winning, it just doesnt get the same attention. When there are failings on and off the pitch you have a problem.
As I said previously there was the ridiculous sight of an exhausted woman wiping down the seats in the TE 10 mins before kick off in the first game. That is unacceptable, the stadium manager honestly should be held accountable by the directors and should pay with his job.
Then there is the leaked Whatsapp message from Taylor being reported in the Athletic today. I had presumed it was a fake but if they are repeating it they must think it is likely real.
Too many things going wrong.

C'mon, Ozz'.  That's a low blow.  It doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

£100 million says he's had the best of intentions.  Blown loads of money (most of it poorly spent on so-so players.)

We have Cat 1.  We have (nearly) planning permission for a new stand.

Bar the seat cleaning issue, Forest are far stronger off the pitch.  It wasn't so long ago the City Ground was full and rocking under Sabri's 'winning' football.

He has employed Warburton, Aitor, MoN, Hughton.

The Championship is a tough nut to crack.  Just look at where Barnsley and Swansea and Reading are.  The football goddess is fickle.  Teams rise.  They fall.

For me, he's only guilty of not seeing it through with any those four (if Hughton goes.)

It was the lack of consistency and the presumption that what worked over there (and why wouldn't they think that?  They run a successful club...) would work here.

SA.

First of all - sorry sniff - didn’t mean you were associated with the club but merely you hear things Greek end and have on the whole been very supportive of this regime. Didn’t mean it to be a personal dig.

£100 and what do we have to show for it. Doughty / Fawaz / EM. All have roughly spent in the region of 100m.

That is £300m.

What have we to show for it?

A training ground that is half decent championship level - light years behind the premiership.
A crumbling ground showing its age
Best talents from academy sold off
A very poor squad.
An inexperienced and newly assembled support team and EO (not CEO)
We have kept compliant to FFP - admirable with the ambitions we had.
A huge waste of money on players - 80 in 4 years.

EM just hasn’t had value for money. But nor did Fawaz (own fault) or doughty (mark Arthur).

I have always wondered what is it about our club- it seems cursed.
We’ve had investment but our board and structure has been shocking under the last 3 owners.

There seems to be some emerging structure now but from what Sniff says - this could be just a temporary measure whilst EM sells.

I am done really. It is really difficult to justify the 2 1/2 hour round trip these days.

£300 wasted if he sells up.

Sorry but cat 1 so what. No one will care about this if we are relegated. Plenty of clubs have cat 1 and we make more of a deal about it than anyone.

Plans for a new stand... so what they are only plans... that was 2 years ago.

The only thing that is really important here is the first team. It is as bad now as it has been since we were last relegated. In that regard giving up now and leaving us as we are will be as bad as fawaz.

I don't think the team needs too much to fix it to be honest.
A CF that can hold and lay up would be great.
A bit more energy in the middle but we may already have that with Ojeda.

It's pretty much the on field stuff that is fuelling off field attentions.  They go hand in hand.

Huddersfield show (a team that were 'meh' last season) that 3 pivotal players can make all the difference to galvanise your fortunes.

As you highlighted.  Up front.  And the middle of the park.  Been bossed in the centre and we're flimsy up front.  Just can't hold onto the ball.  So it comes straight back to the defence bypassing midfield very quickly.

I hope recruitment have Jan' transfer window in laser focus.

That sacked manager list makes grim reading. Has it been so many?

A vessel belonging to the owner of Nottingham Forest rescued more than 150 migrants after finding them on a sinking ship in the Mediterranean.

Shipping magnet Evangelos Marinakis said one his crude oil tankers, Aristofanis, was headed to Egypt from Italy on Friday.

Its crew raised the alarm after spotting a 15-metre wooden boat drifting south of the Greek Peloponnese peninsula and picked up all the migrants safely.
