The benefits of a traditional manager setup.
I think Forest need a manager like a Billy or a MoN type. Somebody who knows this level. Who knows players.
We've given Hughton a budget, cost cutting mandate without a striker or players he knows. Good luck, Chris. You're going to need it. He's been sold a pup.
We need better players. 2-3 that can impact the side. Enough to turn the small margins into something else.
SA. Stop it SA, i still get a warm fuzzy feeling about that first BD spell - that 3-0 wba away was one of the best performances i can remember (in this league) - i think the feeling is pride but its been so long i've forgotten (shite we've been so starved of success).
I think we need someone in that mould (but not billy)
I don't think those in power have got the stomach to make and keep such an appointment through the pain barrier necessary.
They were quite happy with the stale and lifeless Sabri and 'The Coach' yes man model.
We backed Hughton poorly. We're reaping the results.
SA.

The only way to find out is see if anyone else can get this team playing better
I think the squad is very average ( being kind) , but I d put money on there being plenty that could get more out of them, I think he knows it’s game over, I ve not enjoyed one match under him
I mean relatively (apart from the cup game with wolves) we’ve not been trounced in the league never given a proper spanking. I think the players have given up with what hughton wants them to do and maybe it’s time for someone else, I hope Dane does have a maverick up his sleeve?
I'd like to believe the players just downed tools but from what I've seen they've been trying quite hard. I really hope I'm wrong or Dane manages to find another one of those top 5% managers that actually make a massive impact.

They want a coach set up. Is my vibe.

We need better players. 2-3 that can impact the side. Enough to turn the small margins into something else. You need fire power for this league.
And Forest don't have it.
Despite the result. A couple of wins will help. Who's next? Huddersfield? Millwall?
SA.
I agree mate. I don't think the top brass at this club is competent enough to manage over the managerial position.
Jury is obviously out on Murphy, but I'm not sure that now is the time to give him the reigns.

It's not nasty... what do they expect. We are a mess. We are going back to league 1 and quick. Does anyone expect the fans to thank them for this. We love the club and its very clear that it has been mistreated.
The longer CH is here now the more the fans will turn their attention to the owner.
The fans are angry but nasty??? Nasty will be when people start protesting again. Let's hope it doesn't get to that

Right just got in, where to begin
Positives
Brennan never stopped trying and was a menace
Lowe tried hard but still looks rusty at times
The crowd were behind them until the 2nd goal, 23800 on a Wednesday night in the circumstances
Negatives
Horvath, it wasnt 1 mistake, he was faffing on the ball all game and not clearing it, he very nearly gave a very similar chance away in the first half, wasnt at all surprised when it happened.
Thought we only had 1 clear chance all game fell to Worrall I think. Nice knock down from Taylor which was literally the only thing he did all night.
Grabban was so deep he was virtually playing centre mid, he got totally done for the first goal but he was playing where Yates should have been.
What the hell has happened to Garner the footballer? Did ManU swap him in the summer?
No idea what formation we were playing towards the end. Both Grabban and Lolley in Centre mid. Not going to slag off Silva yet but Im pretty certain he isnt a striker. Had a poor 1st touch
We look a very weak team.
Hughton doesnt have a clue how to turn it around
