The thread is called your thoughts on the current Nottingham Forest manager. That means good or bad, winning or losing. We could be top of the Premier League and still have a thread called your thoughts on the current Nottingham Forest manager couldn't we?

AK is a bottler...the win v Boro was great...but if we dont follow it up with a consistent run...it is worth nothing in relation to where we want to go...i said it before...i will consider us real challengers for a play off spot only if we perform consistently nd gain points on a regular basis...nd we r not doing it...this home defeat has been coming...now lets see how we bounce back...

I reckon at home weve been 2nd best in more games now than we've been the better team.
The wins against shef wed and Rotherham were really hard earned wins IIRC.
After we hit the bar at 1-0 up i really thought we would get 3 or 4 and it turn in to an exhibition.
Or home form is becoming a problem. AK probably realises this himself and that's why he's getting tetchy.

We seem to play into the oppositions hands, yesterday was a perfect example. Grabban up front and we went long,makes sense if we had Murphy up front . We never challenged for any headers and as such we could not keep hold of the ball. AK having a pop at the fans was unfair . Bad passing, lack of energy is always going to cause unrest amongst a crowd, the players are not young kids, most have been around a bit and know that its not personal, its frustration and it was down to them to do something that would change the mood of the crowd. We did not have a leader on the pitch that could galvanise the players and get them working harder and Norwich kept up the pace and we could not match them.

A simple fist pump from Karanka towards the crowd or waving his arms above his head can soon whip the crowd up into a frenzy.
If the fans are quiet do something to get them going. It's not difficult.
No need to be critical of the fans when such simple solutions are available.

We have had a very tough run of games, Boro, Norwich, Leeds. Sheff. United and we have got a decent points return.

Agree on the point return...shame we couldnt hold out for at least a draw against Norwich...the gap to the top woukd have been even less...I dont mention tbe Leeds'hands ball' cause there were another 10 minutes (including injury time) to play so still Leeds could have scored( infact after their goal they were just a few inches from winning it)...but v Norwich it was in our hands nd we threw it away...this year no one is running with the league, i think the team at the top has been changing almost every week...nd the main culprit..Forest..?...so now its about time that we put a run of wins together...4 will do...nd it will be our turn to lead the pack...January is going to be as crucial as the one when we were fighting Newcastle nd WBA at tge time of Billy...the difference this year is that...there r no Newcastle nd no WBA plus our owner is ambitious nd he will provide all the funds needed to cross the line...

We need another left back. Thats all imo, unless someone special comes along who we couldnt turn down.
We also need a better keeper but can't see that happening ing.

Winger tomlin and like u say left back. Pants did ok yesterday, his distribution is still poor but much better when throwing, got us on the counter.
Unless we hit some really poor form between now and Xmas we should see a manager last a full season, and deservedly so. Yes he's spent big, but let's not forget the players sold and the amount other teams have spending whilst we've been buying garbage or freeloaders.
A total overhaul was needed, finished product could well be after Jan window. Then a strong push for auto spot.
