Heard similar, although only whispers doing the rounds. Shocking if true though.

Sorry, I just dont buy that. Sounds like fan rumour S**t. Unless Big Steve at Bulwell Farmfoods says its true then it never happened as far as im concerned.

Big Steve at Bulwell Farmfoods can't be totally certain he witnessed it because he was taking in the delivery at the time, but was told by fat Frank who drinks in the Oxford, who said little Willie from Wilko's thought he saw it happen

I'm far from convinced it is true, but both DT and DJ have named Owen in their Twitter rants tonight (or as good as. DT named him, DJ said "all the board members should be sacked"). 

It might be ballacks, but it does seem a bit strange that suddenly both high profile chaps have gone for the throat at the same time, with Owen involved in both Tweets.

Yes he has, a long one and it definitely is not flattering.

Where to begin, a summary of old issues wrapped up with recent events, the state of the ground, Jonno’s tweet and a few new anecdotes, the changing rooms unfinished, promised ice bath not in place, a bewildering story about EM wanting to buy the Guardian.

Some very positve comments on Murphy but that he has found his introduction eyeopening and intends to “stick it out for now”.

What were people expecting?

We know Jonno made a tweet, we know someone found some pigeon S**t in the ground, an ice bath bloody hell is that really important I think he's scraping the barrel a bit with that one, plus why wouldn't EM be interested in buying the Guardian? He owns many newspapers and media outlets in Greece it is one of his fields of business.

No it's not. It's just the same criticisms turned over and over again. Nothing new in there apart from an irrelevant story about an ice bath being delayed and some bloke in a car going to buy ice and being held up (both of which incidentally will have happened under Dane Murphy's tenure).

And there's a mention of EM trying to buy The Guardian, which is written in a way to diminish him and make out he's some kind of uneducated Fawaz type.

Other than that it's just more twitter gossip.  

I've said this before on here about Taylor. There's a a game tonight that we really could do with winning. If he's such a big Forest fan why's this story being released today. In what way will that be helping the players get a result later? Absolutely none.

Why would what he has published today have any impact on the result tonight. Will it demotivate the players.

He does at least give EM some credit - his intensional to buy the guardian comes from his political ideals - also that no charges have ever been proved.
This is a cross roads with the big mans relationship as owner to the fans. All media briefing has been around his long term commitment and we really should be grateful for his backing. There has undoubtedly been improvements and you don’t spend 2m on planning of there is no intention do anything with it - however, sniffers hints and what we are seeing all points to me as clearing the decks for a sale of the club. If there is no big statement made soon- e.g stadium start date, improved facilities at academy started, then for me it’s obvious it is way out time. Just hope the damage is not to great this season as at the moment we are hurting and heading for L1.
That is without addressing the on field issues…
