Snippet - jonnos rant comes from seeing a certain board member in what was perceived as ‘celebrating’ as he is a cardiff fan.

Shocking if true.
Thought that DJ was pretty measured in his tv coverage. Hinted that CH hadn’t had anything to do with recruiting a lot of the new players, did say that the new strategy of younger player recruitment meant we couldn’t deal with Cardiff’s direct style but the most shocking thing was that he said 2 of our new recruits wouldn’t be available for the next 2 games.

I'm no big fan of this trend of employing someone to sign players above the manager. It may have worked for other clubs, but we're not them.
But the timing of the change is ridiculously risky. It's clear that Dane's "Gegenpressen" and Hughtons sit back methods don't marry up. There's just no joined up thinking there, again (unsurprisingly).
We need to stay up first then build now. We flushed our chance at having a proper chance to build over the past 3 years. I hope Jan sees short term survival prioritized over long term thrive. I don't like that, but we need that.

In fairness, we already knew that due to them having to self isolate as both have come into the country from red flagged countries (Odeja, Paraguay and Drager, Tunisia)
